About
Wicked Hair
Laila Grigley built a colour salon around one idea: you should know the answer, the price and the plan before anyone touches your hair. Everything else here follows from that.
The owner
Laila Grigley, Utah hair colorist.

Laila takes the colour work other salons decline. Corrections, rescues, dark to blonde, vivids and extension work that has grown out badly. The standard is not that every client leaves with the colour in the photograph. It is that every client leaves knowing what happened, what it cost and what happens next.
The salon also trains its own colorists rather than hiring finished ones, which is why the same standards apply whichever chair you sit in. Every formula is documented, so a result you loved can be repeated exactly.
The eight
The Wicked Standards.
Magic
The part of the appointment that is not technique.
Cleanliness
The station, the bowl, the client.
Consultation
How you want to feel, before what you want done.
Timing
The appointment runs to the time it was booked for.
Formula
Documented every time, so the result is repeatable.
Integrity
Strand and patch testing before the risk is taken.
Finish
You leave looking finished, not processed.
Growth
What to use at home, and the next appointment booked.
The promise
What you get every time.
You know the price before we start
A levelled price, confirmed by your stylist before any colour is mixed. Never a number that appears at the end.
The consultation is about how you want to feel
Free, fifteen to twenty minutes, and it is the front door for every new client.
Your hair integrity comes before the photograph
Strand and patch testing before the risk is taken. Where it takes two sittings, we book two sittings.
We take the hard work
Correction, box dye recovery, dark to blonde, grown out extensions.
You are never lectured
Whatever you did to your hair before you walked in is not the subject of the appointment.
You leave knowing what happens next
How long it will hold, when to come back, and what to use at home.
